The Nighthawks have been around for 50 years, but they make their Cult Classic Brewing debut on Friday January 9, 2026 at 8PM, bringing more than five decades of genre-crossing energy. Led by founder Mark Wenner on vocals and harmonica, the Nighthawks deliver a dynamic mix of Blues, R&B, Honky-Tonk Country, Doo-Wop, Gospel, and Rockabilly. Come sit in with the band as they continue their celebrated journey. 

Since its inception in 1972, The Nighthawks has embodied the musical vision of founder Mark Wenner, defying genre boundaries to create a distinctive blend of blues, R&B, country, gospel, and rockabilly. Rooted in the vibrant musical tradition of Washington, D.C., the band has evolved over the years, opening doors for fellow musicians and earning accolades such as the Blues Music Award for their acoustic album Last Train to Bluesville.  Led by Wenner alongside seasoned musicians like Johnny Castle and Mark Stutso, The Nighthawks continue to captivate audiences with their rich tapestry of sound, honoring their four-decade journey and inviting listeners to join in the celebration of their enduring musical legacy.

The Todd Smith Band will open the show at 7pm.

Kentavius Jones, the bohemian beatbox, is a combination of singer songwriter and soul with an indie sensibility. Sam Pugh is a Cambridge, MD based singer/songwriter blending indie, folk, and pop into intimate, cathartic songs. He is known for his work with the rock band Heartside, who have toured the Mid-Atlantic region.


The High & Wides play stringband music from an alternate timeline, one where Bill Monroe's "Rocky Road Blues" made him an international superstar and fiddlers and banjo players became rock icons. With roots in urban Baltimore and the rural Delmarva peninsula, they draw on bluegrass backgrounds and weave in influences from new wave to old time to make music that defies boundaries while evoking the era when country, bluegrass, western swing, and early rock'n'roll mingled freely.

A town hall meeting has been called by Miss Kitty West, owner of the Long Branch Saloon, the best waterin’ hole this side of the “Chesterpeake Bay.” Seems there’s suspicious activity goin’ on by MarDelVa’s most notorious outlaw who has been forcing people to sell him their land….or else!! Will the citizens take a stance against—or perhaps consider murdering— this evil chicken baron in this “Old-West-meets-up-with-new-sheriff in-town parody”?

Reserved seats (include the pre-show meal and a drink token good for a draft beer or wine) $54 per person.

Join a CULT Comedy night, is similar to our regular comedy nights, with a few surprises! 
It is a really fun way to highlight local businesses, and give back to the community! 

 The comics are doing their jokes/sets, then will be interupted by me, with a ???? challenge ???? , where they will have to perform something weird/wild/potentially embarrassing, and competely unscripted, before they leave the stage. It will be completely random, so they have to be ready at ANY TIME! 

The comics themselves will be handing out a gift or two to audience members. Also, there will be small door prizes, AND I will be running a ????raf-fool ???? throughout the night!
The ????'s are donated by local businesses, to help spread the word about their product/brand! You will be given your raf-fool ticket at the door, as you take your seat. There will be fair amount of audience participation, some may or may not involve getting a $0 beer or drink of your choosing(maybe milkshake or something for those of us that don't drink). ????????????????

Good food, shared memories, lauguing together, and staying connected as a community! ????????

Songbird Collective presents Sunday Set, Full Band Edition featuring Madisun Bailey, Laura Brino, Meg Murray and Carly Winter.

Laura Brino is an indie folk-pop singer-songwriter from Annapolis, Maryland. Her music blends folk warmth, rock energy, and pop shimmer. With deeply personal lyrics, she explores healing, motherhood, and resilience. A finalist in the 2025 Bernard/Ebb Awards, she’s also a filmmaker and founder of Songbird Collective, supporting women and non-binary artists through mentorship and community.

Madisun Bailey, a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland creates a distinctive style of funk, r&b, and pop, with amazing guitar technique, lyrical prowess and captivating voice. 

Influenced by many artists such as, Erykah Badu, Lianne La Havas, Willow Smith, Radiohead, and Billie Eilish, Madisun was honored with the reputable Rammie award from Rams Head On Stage for "Annapolis Songwriters Festival Showcase Songwriter of the Year (Local) 2024," standing out among many other talented artists. 

Performing regularly at clubs, festivals and venues across Maryland, Madisun devotes herself to crafting her own music, eager to share her art with the world. 

Meg Murray is a singer-songwriter from the Annapolis MD music scene, known for her strong voice, her songwriting and soulful performances. Meg has worked with Grammy winning producers, performed with friend and mentor Eva Cassidy, released 6 albums on her label Girl Island Productions, and has performed from Albany NY to Birmingham AL.

Carly Winter is a talented young singer-songwriter from Annapolis, MD, whose powerful voice resonates with the depth and wisdom of an old soul. Her lyrics weave emotional stories that feel timeless, capturing the echoes of experiences and feelings beyond her years. Carly’s music reflects her unique ability to blend vulnerability with strength, creating songs that speak to the hearts of listeners.

With a growing presence in the mid-Atlantic, Carly has performed across Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and Delaware, sharing her raw, authentic sound with a wide audience. Her work has not gone unnoticed, with several of her tracks featured on WTMD, one of the region’s most respected radio stations. Carly’s draws from great songwriters like Julien Baker, Mindy Smith, Phoebe Bridgers, the Avett Brothers, Brandi Carlile, and John Prine

Tornado Rose delivers an uplifting blend of Americana, bluegrass, country and folk with gorgeous vocals and high-flying strings. 

 Lead singer and songwriter Brooke Bell’s voice shines with an enchanting power and clarity, beautifully supported by rich bass lines, captivating melodies and smooth solos that infuse incredible depth into each song allowing your imagination to soar. Brooke is a multi-instrumentalist on the guitar, autoharp and fiddle and her exceptional vocal abilities compliment her songwriting.

Tornado Rose released the ‘Cast Iron Cure EP’ in October 2025 to critical acclaim. Recorded with Dewey Boyd at Forty-One Fifteen studio in Nashville, TN the tracks “Rabbit in the Pine,” “Down Fall River,” “Jazz June,” and “Fryin’ Pan” feature performances from standout musicians including IBMA fiddle player of the year Maddie Denton and Lucas White on guitar.

Graham Peters from Hit Harmony Haven writes, “Part of what makes “Jazz June” so compelling is the way Tornado Rose fuses their signature roots-forward sound with literary inspiration, turning poetry into a communal listening experience.

The Seth Mitchell Band is a bluegrass/Americana band from Maryland that plays innovative, propulsive acoustic music. Singer-songwriter Seth Mitchell launched the band in 2022 to fuse his relentless songwriting with a deep love of traditional roots sounds. Their award-winning originals deliver lyrical depth through emotive melodies, backed by crackling banjo, driving rhythm, and searing fiddle. Since releasing their WAMMIE-nominated album Glen Burnie Man, the band has become a fixture in the DMV bluegrass scene.

Debbie's metaphysical journey began with a near death experience when she was a teenager. Multiple personal losses in her early 20's prompted a personal journey to study and learn more about what she had come to realize is a Metaphysical gift. She has studied extensively with British mediums in the traditions of the Spiritualist Churches of Great Britain. Concurrently she did pursue a more 'normal career'; she holds a masters' Degree for Johns Hopkins and worked as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer for over 20 years.  This background and experience dealing with very difficult situations lends itself well to the readings she provides with insight, sensitivity, and empathy. 

We do ask that all attendees be at least 18 years of age.

Korupt LIVE at Cult July 11

Korupt was formed in late 1982 when hard rock, hair metal and MTV were the rage. The band has performed at most of the iconic clubs around the tri state area, including the Bayou in Georgetown, Hammerjacks in Baltimore, The Paragon in College Park as well as many others. They were also included in the Hammerjacks Rockumentary. Korupt has also performed at the M3 festival at Merriweather post pavilion on 4 occasions.  Korupt was the most repeated band at the Island Bay Day festival, which ran for 10 years. There is an original CD called Blood Brothers available on most streaming networks. They have kept their shows to the classic style of the 80’s, doing covers from Guns and Roses, Slaughter, Black Sabbath and Dokken just to name a few.  If you still love the 80’s or Hair Nation on satellite radio then this is the band to see.

Limited seating is available (with tables and chairs) and we've got all sorts of room on the dance floor for general admission.
